Today, we want to give you an early heads-up about a major update coming to the VibePay app in 2026. Two important changes will launch at the same time, and they mark the beginning of a much bigger evolution for VibePay.

One thing we’ve heard loud and clear is this: you want rewards that actually feel rewarding.
In 2026, rewarding real-life spending will sit at the heart of the VibePay experience. Instead of asking you to do something different, we’re focusing on giving more back from the payments you already make, every week.
Wherever you shop.
However you pay.
Whoever you bank with.
This is about making rewards feel simple, fair, and genuinely worthwhile, without adding friction or complexity.
We’ll be sharing more about how this works, and what it unlocks, over the coming weeks.
Alongside this shift, we also want to be open about a change coming at the same time.
From April 2026, we’ll be pausing peer-to-peer (P2P) payments in the VibePay app. Until then, P2P payments will continue to work as normal.
This decision wasn’t taken lightly. But it allows us to fully focus on building the next phase of VibePay, one centred around rewards, everyday spending, and delivering more value from the payments you already make.
By pausing P2P, we can concentrate our efforts on creating something bigger, more impactful, and designed to reward more people, more often.
We’ll be sharing more detail on what this enables as we get closer to launch.
With these changes launching together in 2026, VibePay will become a rewards-first payments app.
