Preparing for Plus

Hi team. We’re in the final stages of polishing plus this week, ahead of its release. I wanted to share some of my own thoughts about why this is the next logical step for us, our community and the wider world. Some estimates suggest that as many as 47% of UK adults have taken on a side-hustle to bolster their income. The pandemic moulded scores of us into make-shift barbers, bakers, personal trainers and content creators, and the months and years that followed have seen those crafts nurtured and mastered. Meanwhile, however, the payment systems that support this growing pillar of the economy have lagged behind, leaving hard working hustlers frustrated and often out of pocket. It’s time for a change.

Today’s economy has progressed beyond the limited capacities of traditional payment methods, and is sorely missing VibePay+, a powerful tool that recognises the new ways in which people are getting paid. It’s an economy that is increasingly characterised by hard working hustlers, who deserve better than what’s currently on offer. We firmly believe that creators, sellers and small businesses should keep more of what they earn. The fee-free transactions that you are familiar with make that a reality. Messaging in channels is a game changer, for small businesses, side hustlers, and friends and families that want distinct, recognisable homes for each of their income streams and lifestyles. The two together sees VibePay+ assume the form a business critical tool for a new generation of grafters.

As ever, it’s our community that will shape what we do, and we can’t wait to see this in your hands. Keep an eye out for a chance to get your hands on a free subscription, very soon.

I’ll see you tomorrow for VibePay Friday. Good vibes, always…
